Book Report / On VacationMonday, May. 21, 2007 4:59 PMThe Minister is on holiday through May 31. During the time I've been on disability (since October 2005), I've read quite a few books. I am a reasonably fast and avid reader, and my interests touch on a broad range of subjects. It is my opinion that there is no way President George W. Bush read sixty books in the space of a single year in addition to the flood of position papers and reports that must routinely cross a president's desk. Nor do I believe that anyone who can read sixty books, ranging from Shakespeare to Camus, could possibly be as shallow and dull-witted as Mr. Bush routinely demonstrates himself to be. Books I've Read Since October, 2005 Queen of the South / Arturo Perez Reverte Genghis Khan and the Making of the Modern World / Jack Weatherford A User's Guide to the Brain / John J. Ratey Beam Me Up / James Doohan Our Endangered Values - America's Moral Crisis / President Jimmy Carter One Bullet Away / Nathan Fick Dead Witch Walking / Kim Harrison The Last Light of the Sun / Guy Gavriel Kay Captain Alatriste / Arturo Perez Reverte The Star Trek Scriptbook - The Q Files / Various X-Wing: Wraith Squadron / Aaron Allston Hard Contact / Karen Traviss Triple Zero / Karen Traviss Inside Delta Force / Eric Haney 24 - Declassified: Operation Hellgate / Marc Cerrasini Ironcrown Moon / Julian May DaVinci Code Illustrated Screenplay / Dan Brown, Akiva Goldsman How Would A Patriot Act? / Glenn Greenwald Black Wind / Clive Cussler & Dirk Cussler 1421: The Year The Chinese Discovered the World / Gavin Menzies Urban Shaman / C.E.
