Michael Ruhlman has a student's-eye video, courtesy of Chef Michael Pardus, on the proper technique to Congressman Gresham Barrett (R-South Carolina) is reintroducing legislation to bar aliens from countries designated state sponsors of terrorism, as well as Yemen, from entering the United States. Oh, and anyone with a student, temporary work, exchange, or tourist visa would have 60 days to leave the country. Apart from the silliness of 'OMG! They're Everywhere!' as opposed to sensible, effective security (i.e., security that works no matter where a terrorist comes from), these provisions would not have stopped Major Nidal Hassan or Umad Farouk Abdulmutallab, both of which incidents Barrett cited as the reason for his re-introducing the legislation.
