Putting One Futon Front of the Other ...

Monday, Oct. 02, 2006 12:26 AM

Saturday marked my first year with Diaryland. W00t!

I'm off to shop for a replacement futon frame. The unit which we've had for the last nine years or so gave way unexpectedly.

Curiously enough, it was not the tiny wooden dowel which connected the crosspiece to the side, nor the bolt but the side/arm itself, shearing off at an odd angle.

Obtaining a replacement is a considerable priority, as the futon is central to the living room.
