14th Amendment Nutjobs

Tuesday, Aug. 03, 2010 3:44 AM

Among the 'Repeal the 14th Amendment' crowd is Sen. Jon Kyl (R-Arizona).

And then it occurred to me. If the point of repealing the 14th Amendment is to take away citizenship from 'anchor babies,' wouldn't that (at the very least) cast further doubt on President Obama's citizenship (or right to same)?

It's not about the hordes of evil illegal immigrants, folks. It's about certain conservative brains imploding over the fact that there's a black man in the White House.

BP would have you believe that you can spill millions of gallons of crude into the Gulf of Mexico, but the seafood is absolutely safe to eat.

Anyone want to spring for a shrimp dinner for Doug Suttles? I want to see this scumbag eat something fished out of the Gulf.

I want to see him look in the eye people whose livelihoods were ruined by their negligence and tell them everything's just spiffy.

I've no doubt they're rushing to get the relief wells and their latest kill attempt over and done with, so they can close the door and start whitewashing the past 107 days. Remember, we're trusting the corporation who ignored safe operating procedures and lied about the outcome for weeks to accurately report on their efforts.

Oh, and a Boot to the Head to the EPA, who announced that the chemical dispersants used by BP are 'no more harmful than the oil itself.'

Well, GOSH, that's a relief!

So does anyone at the EPA want to explain how spraying equally toxic chemicals on top of gushing crude oil is supposed to make things any better?
