Triumph of the Spill?

BP claims the Deepwater Horizon well has stopped leaking, thanks to the new cap they put in place.

This is after 96 days of lies and coverups and stonewalling and flat-out bullshit, including a CEO who complained he wanted his life back.

The well is at risk from continued pressure - a situation that exists largely because of BP's slipshod operations - and the initial upsurge of oil may have fractured the crust in adjacent areas.

But, of course, BP would tell us if oil started gushing out of another spot, wouldn't they?
