If you're eligible, but aren't registered to vote, why the frack not? If the system is corrupt and/or broken, it's not going to be less so for your pretending to not be a part of it. Ultimately, if you're not voting, just shut the fuck up. I don't want to hear you complain or whine about how your candidate or issue didn't get a fair shake. Hell, if the problem is that Meg Whitman has spent $70 million on her campaign thus far, not voting only shows that your silence was bought for under $70 million - of which you got not a penny. If you don't vote, you've ceded your privilege (and responsibility) as a citizen in a democracy, handed over essential decisions not to a majority of those who are better informed or necessarily wiser, just those who took the time to vote.
