Forgive Them, For They Know Not ...?

Rush Limbaugh remarked that if healthcare reform passes, he'll leave America for Costa Rica.

He apparently doesn't know that Costa Rica has a universal health care program.

FOX News' Glenn Beck advised his viewers to leave their church if it advocates social (or economic) justice. (Because, apparently, social justice = Nazism/Communism. Never mind that the two are entirely at odds with each other.)

But, as Rev. James Martin points out, that would mean bailing out on the Catholic Church.

Archbishop Charles Chaput is defending the decision to deny readmission to two students (a kindergartener and a preschooler) because their parents are a same-sex couple.

And perhaps the good archbishop wants to keep in mind that his house isn't exactly clean. (Though, to be fair, the pastoral shuffle involving the priests named in this article occurred on someone else's watch; Chaput was appointed as archbishop in 1997.)
