Notes From The Long, Plastic Hallway

Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009 4:06 AM

After Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-Louisiana) helped break the GOP filibuster of the healthcare reform bill (she voted for cloture, not for the bill), no less than Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh denounced her as a whore, and Time's Mark Halperin offered up a photoshop job depicting Senator Landrieu with semen in her hair.

The image has since been removed.

However, I think it fitting that Halperin be fired for his puerile stunt that has absolutely no place in a news publication.

From the Sanitized For Your Protection Department, it's the Bush Presidency!

Or, rather, former White House Spokeswoman Dana Perino claiming, "We did not have a terrorist attack on our country during President Bush's term."

And this clueless wonder has been nominated to serve on a board overseeing government-sponsored broadcasting?
