A Fine MessWednesday, Oct. 14, 2009 4:13 AMOrly Taitz, the California lawyer who has been championing the 'Obama isn't a natural-born citizen' nonsense, has been fined $20,000 by the Middle District Court of Georgia, for 'wasting (the court's) judicial resources' and her 'frivolous and sanctionable conduct.' Judge Clay Land had previously warned Taitz that her conduct was unacceptable to the court. His ruling has been forwarded to the California Bar Association. Taitz says she has no intention of paying the fine. Meanwhile, professional gasbag Rush Limbaugh is part of a bid to purchase the St. Louis Rams football team. The announcement drew criticism in light of Limbaugh's brief stint as a commentator on ESPN, where he remarked that the rest of the media wanted quarterback Donovan McNabb to succeed because he was black. Both the Rev. Al Sharpton and Rev. Jesse Jackson have spoken against the bid, and the head of the NFL Players' Association has also written to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell expressing the players' disapproval. Doubtless, Limbaugh will blame everyone from the liberal media to the black community. But, really - if you want someone to blame, Rush ... go look in a mirror.
