'Go Fuck Yourself' Cheney) opined that President Obama should send a military officer or member of a military family to accept the Nobel Peace Prize on behalf of the American military, because the American military is the pre-eminent peacekeeping force in the world. Talk about missing the point. The Nobel Peace Prize is about the kind of peace that comes through courage, conviction, and leadership through example. It certainly doesn't come from launching a war on false pretenses and insisting - even in the face of proof to the contrary - that you were keeping America safe from terrorism.
