Contradiction Is Not Persecution

Poor little Carrie Prejean. Beset by Satan, evil photographers, and horrid websites mocking her Christian faith, she nonetheless triumphed and retained her crown as Miss California.

And for that, she thanks her parents, the Miss Universe organization, her grandfather who fought in World War II, her sister who is in the Air Force, Donald Trump, and ... oh, of course, God.

As for the photos (more of which continue to be revealed) Trump admitted they were, perhaps, a bit risque, but - hey - this is the 21st Century!

Would that this meant we were equally enlightened about providing the same legal benefits to same-sex couples as heterosexual couples, without basing our opposition on selective passages from the Bible, or nonsense about marrying turtles and chairs.

Former Navy SEAL and one-time Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura told Larry King that if he were to waterboard Dick Cheney, he'd have Cheney confessing to the Sharon Tate murders inside of an hour.
