God SwillThursday, Mar. 26, 2009 3:56 AMRNC Chairman Michael Steele tells CNN that his little 'disagreement' with Rush Limbaugh was, in fact, a calculated strategy to help him 'see what his position on the chessboard was.' That way, he'd be able to tell who was really behind him and who wasn't, which is patent nonsense. Who are your true supporters, the Rush worshippers who went ballistic when you called out their idol, or the people who said, 'About time!'? Never mind that you wouldn't have been saying anything about Ayatollah Limbaugh if President Obama hadn't mentioned him first. Steele goes on to say that whether he runs for president in 2012 is up to God. Because God has done so well in choosing George W. Bush (God told him to be president, remember, because clearly, the Founding Fathers had gone totally off the reservation with all that Constitution stuff). And just last year, God was apparently throwing His Support behind Sarah Palin. And sparing a little love for St. Bobby Jindal the Exorcist. It's not God, people. It's your insufferably large egos and religious delusions. Or, as Philippe the Mouse says in Ladyhawke, 'Pardon me, Sir, but I speak to God all the time, and He never mentioned you.'
