ExtractionWednesday, Feb. 04, 2009 9:25 AMNot much to say today ... I had my only wisdom tooth taken out yesterday afternoon, and am sitting at home recovering. My jaw still hurts a little, and eating is a challenge - sure, you can chew on the other side of your mouth, but there's still food knocking about, so the menu is soup and scrambled eggs. When I was growing up, and everyone else was having their wisdom teeth removed, it was common to keep them, a souvenir from a rite of passage, as it were. Now, apparently, an extracted tooth is classified as biohazardous waste and must be disposed of.
