Author Kurt Vonnegut, perhaps best known for his science-fiction novels such as Slaughterhouse Five and God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater, has passed away at age 84.

Over 3,600 students and alumni at Brigham Young University are questioning whether or not it is appropriate to have Vice President Dick Cheney as the commencement speaker later this month.

"We espouse honesty, charity, integrity, ethics, virtue, and morality, and he does not epitomize those values," said Warner P. Woodworth, a professor at the university's school of management.

The Decider is looking for a scapegoat War Czar to oversee Iraq and Afghanistan. Several generals have already turned Mr. Bush down.

Either Bush is looking to distance himself from his disastrous policies, or he's clearing his desk so he can kick off another war.
