Minister's Day Off

Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2006 12:01 AM

Just a short post today for a number of reasons.

First, we're still within the first few days of the Lunar New Year, and so I'm abstaining from my usual political commentary, not so much because I feel it is complaining or mean-spirited, but because I would prefer not to immerse myself in the dishonesty and doublespeak of the Bush Administration as a means of setting the tone for the coming year. As such, I will be refraining from comments about Mr. Bush's State of the Union Address for a few days.

Second, it's my birthday, and discussing President Bush is so not on the list of 'fun things to do' therein.
