A Rock and A Budget DeadlineTuesday, Jun. 22, 2010 7:08 AMTwo California State lawmakers (Gloria Romero and Wes Chesbro) have proposed legislation that would remove serpentine as the state rock, because it is the primary source for chrysotile asbestos, and therefore linked to mesothelioma. Um, isn't there something more pressing to attend to? Like the state budget?
