A woman named Merry Hyatt is collecting signatures for a little ditty she calls the 'Freedom to Present Christmas Music in Public School Classrooms or Assemblies Initiative,' which would require schools to provide the opportunity for students to listen and/or perform Christmas carols ... or be subject to litigation.

Because nothing expresses the joy and love of the Christmas season like a lawsuit.


FOX News' Bill O'Reilly is denouncing the popular Law & Order franchise as leftist propaganda after a character remarks in an episode that O'Reilly and other right-wing noisemakers are like "... a cancer spreading ignorance and hate."

Because O'Reilly would never do something so despicable as suggest abortion doctors should be killed. And I'm sure it's just a coincidence that authors like O'Reilly end up on the bookshelves of wackaloon cop killers.


Senator Joe Lieberman says he'll vote for the Democratic version of healthcare reform.

Just as long as Democrats take out the public option. And the idea of a Medicare buy-in. Oh, and just forget that whole 'reform' thing.

Gee, thanks for caucusing with us, Senator.
