A Bridge Too Far?

Well, this isn't helping anyone's morning commute.

I can't wait to hear what the explanation is. Was it because it was a rush job to reopen the bridge? Was there more extensive damage than originally thought?

Of course, I'm up ninety minutes earlier than usual so I can be at work an hour earlier (it's a slightly longer drive coming overland and across the Golden Gate Bridge).
