Hillary's Wall

Wednesday, Apr. 26, 2006 2:30 AM

Anyone who wants to build a fence along our border won't get my vote.

That includes Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Of course, Ms. Clinton says she also supports some form of legalization process for the illegal immigrants who are already inside our borders.

Here's the big question. If illegal immigrants are taking jobs away from Americans and costing our country billions of dollars in services, does anyone honestly believe prices will drop or benefits will increase if we have the Big Magic Fence along our border?

President Bush announced the temporary suspension of deposits to the strategic national reserve. This would increase the amount of oil on the market and lower prices. Except the amount he's talking about is barely ten percent of the country's daily rate of consumption.

It should also be noted, that right on the heels of his call for alternative fuels, he has cut back on environmental standards. Sorry, you do not inspire innovation by making it easier to be a gross polluter.

Suri, the name Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes chose for their newborn daughter, is getting some puzzled reactions in Israel.

In Hebrew, the name means, "get out of here."

The word is also the name of a Nubian tribe, the word for "rose" in Persian, "sun" in Sanskrit, and a form of Alpaca wool.
